Welcome to the new website for Druimdarroch, a delightful house available for rent in Wester Ross, Scotland - one of the few remaining truly remote areas in the UK. Located between the villages of Gairloch and Badachro, the house overlooks the sea and has direct access to the sea shore.
There are fabulous views of both loch and mountains from all the main rooms and bedrooms of the house. It is surrounded by 2 acres of land and you can watch numerous species of birds feed in the trees right outside the sitting rooom windows.
The house is about a mile from the renowned Badachro Inn with its friendly bar and restaurant serving good food and overlooking beautiful Badachro Bay, so self-catering is not essential every night!
Marvellous wildlife abounds - red deer, seals, sea otters, pine marten, eagles, abundant sea birds are all local inhabitants. There is a lot to do in this remote area of Scotland, such as sea and fly fishing, stalking, sailing, mountaineering, walks, whale and dolphin watching, abseiling, canoeing and horseriding.
Whilst here, you can also visit the world famous Inverewe Gardens with sub tropical plants, play golf at one of the most scenic 9 hole courses which runs along the sweep of Gairloch Beach or visit any of the many interesting historical and geological sites.
